Capturing the Electrifying Flavor of San Miguel de Allende
/Once called Izcuinapan (Place of Dogs) by the indigenous people, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico not only has a rich and vibrant history, but it also has a well-preserved historic center filled with buildings dating back to the 17th century(many of which have been declared World Heritage Sites.)
After the Mexican War of Independence, San Miguel de Allende was in danger of becoming a ghost town. Luckily, the Baroque and Neoclassical colonial structures caught the attention of foreign artists who reinvigorated the cobblestoned town by moving in and opening several art and cultural institutes.
Below you’ll find four items that we think perfectly capture the electrifying flavor of Allende, one of the most important and prosperous settlements in New Spain. Call us at 323-644-5590 to see if the items below are still available.
