The entire Brasilia series by Broyhill is marked by clean lines and raised waves. Chinoiserie refers to a theme that has occurred in European artistic style since the 17th century. Chinoiserie (as the name suggests) reflects Chinese artistic influences. The imagery used on Chinoiserie Pottery often portrays a fanciful, imaginary China as well as attempts to recreate the style of Chinese porcelain.
