DIY Deco | 1970s Deco Style Chandelier With 6 Bulbs

1970s deco style chandelier

Getting that art-deco look is as easy as incorporating geometric patterns, metallic materials and sleek lines. Because items from the art-deco period were often mass produced, look for items that are streamlined and symmetrical.

This 1970s deco-style chandelier has 6 candelabra bulbs and a down light in the center. Chandelier features beautiful acid etched glass plates on a brass finished base.

When one thinks of Art Deco, luxury, glamour, exuberance, and opulence might come to mind. During the height of Art Deco, there was an inherent faith in technological advances; cars that hovered were what Tomorrowland would look like some day. By incorporating Art Deco pieces into your home decor, you can tap into some of that blind optimism, and perhaps inspire a resurgence of positivity in your own future. This pair of large vintage pottery lamps are a gorgeous deep red and sit on a retro lucite base.

The lavender front is made of glass and the top has a chrome trim.  There are three drawers on either side of a center cabinet. Cabinet has shelves for additional organization.

Fire in the Hole

Military Minimalist

Pounding away on your typewriter, the sweat gathers on your brow. You flip the switch on your Eagle desk lamp and your work is suddenly illuminated.

Resembling a military helmet, this vintage Eagle desk lamp is made of cast iron. Although this 1930s Art-Deco lamp is older than most,  it still has a modern, industrial look. Would look great in a minimalist style loft.
