SOLD | Edgar Allan Poe-tree

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary.

This eery painting reminds one of the imaginative writings of Edgar Allan Poe. The landscape depicts wandering bats, tree branches that appear to be reaching out for help from the desolate moon and a thick fog that could be cut with a knife.

The yellow, gray, and green hues, suggest that the setting is at dusk. The painting is signed by the artist (although illegible) and dated 1971. Includes a black frame with gold detailing.

Multi Color AbstractYou Must Be Trippin'

To think, you were waiting your entire youth until the day you were considered a grown up.  You equated adulthood with freedom. Now that you’re here, you feel anything but free. Bills and laundry and deadlines. Can’t you just return to a simpler time when your mind had unlimited expanse? The end of your fingertips were not the end of your reach. A time when melting popsicles, liquifying crayons, and dripping skittles were your biggest obstacles?

This painting is a reminder of that simpler time. Take a trip down memory lane to your colorful youth while staring at this trippy abstract.

Double Leather LoungeNot Your Average Lazy Boy

You aren’t fooling anyone. We all know you aren’t making routine phone calls to important clients when you close your door after lunch. Your secret might remain one if you actually saw a doctor about your obnoxious snoring.

We forgive you though. You are a hard worker. You are the first one there in the morning and the last one to leave. You bring potato salad to every single office potluck. You worked hard to get that office with a view of the parking deck, so why not treat yourself to this chocolate gem.

This 1950s chocolate vinyl lounger still has its original upholstery. Pillow is included and automatic recliner is in working condition. Heats and reclines!

Fresh coconut juice to wash down your grilled mahi. You would never have to smell bus exhaust or your co-workers lean cuisine again. You would spend your day marveling at the sunset, watching the tide rise, and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing.

This set of 1960s hand carved wooden lamps depicts a tropical landscape complete with palm trees, coconuts and tiki huts.

Nothing can replace the love of a mother. No matter what age you are, you'll always feel like a child in your mother's warm embrace.

Vintage Ocean Scape

From Dusk to Dusk

A storm appears to be brewing in this vintage ocean scape. The clouds are dark and heavy and the tail end of the sun is being silenced by the ominous, rolling clouds.

Volatile in nature, the calm of the ocean is quickly replaced by an unstoppable fury. The angry waves won't back down. They will continue to beat the rocky shore until mercy is granted by the rising sun.

This vintage ocean scape is signed by the artist, Alfonso.

Fountain Watercolor

Make a Wish

Fountains are a symbol of rejuvenation. No matter what age you are, you still think about tossing a coin in the bubbling water when you walk by a fountain and making a wish. What if your wishes came true? You could spend the rest of your life sailing around the world with your handsome husband. Or you'd be able to have one last dance with your father. Or you'd finally get to ride in a hot air balloon. Whatever your wishes are, it is important to never stop wishing as you get older.

This beautiful expressionist painting of a fountain is signed by the artist Francis Chapin and includes a gold leaf frame.

Lake Painting

Summers at the lake house were always your favorite memory of growing up. Sometimes your parents let you take your best friend, other summers you were free to spend days in the hammock reading and rereading "Are You There God, It's Me Margaret." No matter what, you always had the best time. You can still smell the crisp air and feel the soreness in your stick thin arms after a day of canoeing. The colors in this painting are so vibrant. The sun is setting on the lake and casting a glow on everything below. Painting includes frame and is signed by the artist, Marie Crawford. Marie Crawford was a Los Angeles resident in 1937.
