Carnegie Hall is a concert venue in New York City named after philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie. Since 1891, it has been one of the most world-renowned performance venues for both classical music and popular music.

This particular print of an old photograph has been burned around the edges and matted onto a wooden board. There is a visible sign announcing a performance by Violinist Maurice Nitke. The original photo is believed to have been taken just after the turn of the century. The building looks much the same today, aside from the giant sky scrapers in the background. Great gift for a budding musician or a native Yankee.

This vibrant painting resembles an Acapulco market. Where else can you buy a piñata, a leather wallet, a basket,  a hammock, an amulet to attract a lover and another to  ward off enemies, and a velvet painting of Virgin of Guadalupe (besides Wal-Mart)?
